The Sultriness of Kocka is a sprawling publication of queer traces and hirstories of Klub Kocka in Split, Croatia. Through artworks, gathered materials, and collective memories, die Blaue Distanz offers an artistic and participatory insight into how queer lives, friendships, and underground clubbing flourished within the concrete shell of Dom mladih. The book gathers what institutional archives have overlooked: gestures of care, flashes of desire, and collective moments of joy and grief that shaped a vibrant and resilient scene. More than a record, it stands as an act of remembering and resistance - a reminder of resilience, creativity, and persistence that continue to pulse through Split’s queer utopian horizon.
